Lonerider Brewing Company, Raleigh, NC, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Cellar Technician/Assistant Brewer. This candidate should have a strong passion for producing top quality craft beer. This position requires working independently as well with other employees. Working evenings and weekends is occasionally necessary. A strong knowledge of the brewing process is absolutely required and applicants with previous experience are preferred

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Communicate with the brewing and packaging teams to ensure everyone is up to date on brewery operations.
• Centrifuging and carbonating beer.
• Fermentor and Bright Tank CIP
• Testing beer fermentation and daily documentation.
• Signing off on finished beer
• Follow standard operating procedures for all duties pertaining to the job description.
• Work independently on occasional brewing shifts.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to assist other co workers as needed.
• Brewery representation (brewery tours, beer dinners, misc. events)

Requirements:

• Able to lift 55lbs and walk short distance with weight suspended overhead.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of the brewing process.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in a brewery environment (tight quarters, cold winters and hot summers, kneeling, climbing ladders etc).
• 2+ years experience in a production brewery is preferred.
• Strong will to learn and become an expert in their role with the brewery.
• Valid drivers license.
