Want to be a Brewer in the exciting and growing craft beer industry in Houston? We are searching for a Shift Brewer to become an integral part of the Platypus Brewing team. Platypus Brewing is a rapidly growing brewery and tap room in the historic Houston Heights.
Job Title: Shift Brewer
Core Accountabilities
- Manage and execute all aspects of a shift brewing process on a 10 bbl system
- CIP of all tanks and equipment
- Manage the kegging and DE filter processes
- Comply with defined operating and safety procedures
Soft Skills
- Enthusiastic and adaptive
- Focus on quality and consistency
- Detail oriented
- Personal ownership and accountability
- Team player
Education
- Formal brewing education preferred
- 1 year experience in brewpub or production brewery
