  • Sanitize rotameter, O2 and CO2 lines

Curious what others are doing for sanitizing rotameters, O2 and CO2 lines and if you're using any filters for your gases. Thanks!

For our o2 that we inject into the wort we use a hepa vent filter https://www.morebeer.com/products/sanitary-filter.html

Our co2 lines that come off our bulk line get taken off and heat sanitized with hot water pretty regularly
No filters used on co2, but I've definitely thought about it for injections and pitching yeast

Don't sanitise rotameters as float rotameters at least don't work accurately once wet. Measure the flow rate and pressure and then pass through sterilisable filters, ensuring the whole injection line from sterilising filter through into the injection point / sinter is sterilised.
