Rocket Republic Brewing Company is seeking a full-time Brewer/Cellarman/Production-Operations person to work in our fully climate controlled production facility on our new (2015) Premier Stainless 15bbl direct fire brewhouse. This position will direct and assist in all aspects of beer production, cellaring and packaging and report to the head brewer. This position is available immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Precise record-keeping for all production batches in real-time.
• Raw materials monitoring, ordering, receiving and handling.
• Tank and vessel cleaning, sanitizing, tank purging, transferring, among others.
• Cleaning the brewery, equipment, and beer lines
• Keg cleaning, washing and filling
• Can filling, stacking, wrapping
• Assisting in any and all tasks including occasional event promotion
• Flexible schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior professional production brewery experience required
• Must have the ability to work alone and with others
• Safety-minded (lifting, chemicals, hot liquids and hardware, inhalation hazards, noise)
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exceptional forklift driving and pallet jack handling skills
• Willingness and ability to step in wherever needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This position is extremely physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials
• Standing and/or walking for long periods of time without sitting
• Frequently climbs ladders
• Frequently bends, moves, transports, or lifts 55 lbs. from ground to shoulder high.
• Lift 110 lbs. from ground to waist high and moving 150 lbs. along the floor.
• Use repetitive motions
