    Job Title: Overnight CIP Custodian
    Division: Fat Head’s Brewery
    Reports to: Packaging Manager
    Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
    Date: November 6, 2017

    PURPOSE: To be responsible for performing Clean in Place (CIP) functions, set-up, clean-up, and maintain general organization and cleanliness of the building and warehouse.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    Packaging
    • Clean in Place (CIP) bottling line equipment and other vessels as needed so they are ready to go for the morning shift
    • Properly use caustic chemicals and follow Standard Operating Procedures to maintain sanitary conditions
    • Bring over stock (bottles, pallets, crowns, labels, case boxes, carriers, 12 packs/trays) from our warehouse based on schedule and need
    • Take bottle pallets, broken pallets, defective kegs, bailed cardboard to warehouse
    • Assist with department cleanliness, organization and rotation of stocks of both raw materials and finished goods
    • Assemble boxes for the next run
    • Operate 4/6 pack machine
    • Properly dispose of plastic wrap and cardboard, including use of baler equipment
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
    • Assist shipping and receiving in management of incoming and outgoing containers, including but not limited to loading/unloading, preparation and receiving
    • Keep tap room/gift shop beer consolidated and organized in cooler
    • Assist with Grain out
    • Assist in operation of packaging line


    Building Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize warehouse restrooms using established practices
    • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns
    • Replace light bulbs, as needed
    • Refill restroom paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers as needed
    • Communicate any needs for cleaning supplies or equipment repair in advance
    • Clean and buff floors
    • Power wash docks and clean up grain by silo
    • Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and
    • Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools upon request
    • Report any building issues, such as presence of animals, vermin or insects; water leaks or other maintenance needs


    Safety
    • Report any and all health or safety hazards noticed
    • Follow instructions and directions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies
    • Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Maintain safe and clean work environment
    • Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures
    • Maintain required safety certifications
    • Other duties as assigned


    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Fork Lift Operator Certification required
    • High School Diploma or equivalent education
    • Previous warehouse or custodian experience preferred
    • Report ready to work on-time
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
    • Comprehensive communication skills
    • Innovative, ambitious, safety conscious, driven yet caring and dedicated

    • Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
    • Work is primarily performed in a production brewing environment. May be exposed to temperature changes, wet or humid conditions, noise, vibrations and other brew production related hazards
    • Requires frequent overnight work
