  • Naming ideas?

    Hi everyone,
I'm getting married at the end of this summer and like most brewers, I plan on brewing something special for my wedding. I'll only serve a couple of kegs of it at the reception, so most will be sold through the taps at my brewpub.

My trouble is, I'm looking for a good name for the beer. Most of the ones I've seen other brewers produce were called "Bridal Ale," but I'm looking for something a little more exciting. Unfortunately, coming up with catchy/funny names is not my strong suit. So I thought I'd defer to the more talented people on this forum and see if they had any good ideas for me.

I don't have any t-shirts to give away, but I'll be happy to send someone a couple of our logo pint glasses as a thank you if I use your idea...

    Any help will be appreciated

    beer name

Congratulations! I just read your post and thought that you could use the your and the brides first initial and then jumpin' broom, such as HD's jumpin' broom ale. It gives you some action in the name. Good luck in finding the correct name. Brian

I brewed a traditional Wit with black cardomom seed, ginger and sweet orange peel. Called it White Wedding Ale. Our coaster company made coasters for me for the price of shipping. We went on to bottle the beer several times and offer it on draft occasionally. Everybody sing: It's a nice day for a ...

My brother finally married his girlfriend from school, after something like 17 years!

I brewed & bottled a batch of "Eventu-Ale" for them.

I quite like the black art of the pun, so my suggestion is "NuptuAle".

Remember to put extra stamps on the pint glass if you need to make it reach over here

                  congrats & good luck,

I think your groomsmen would appreciate "LPR"...

                      Hmm... how about:

Wedding Saison (season, saison... get it?)
                      End of the Roadenbier
                      Hop Knot IPA
                      Pronounciation Porter

                      My favorite:

                      Wedlock Bock
                      Scott Metzger

                              Sure winner - (almost) guaranteed!

The thinktank at DA's Beer Naming *EmPourium* would like to proffer:
"___&___'s Brewlywed Ale" (/Lager/Wild Beer/Potent Potable - you get the idea...).
Thank you, thank you - I'll be here all week...
