  • Plastic Quick Connects for Gas

Trying to gradually replace our cheap brass quick connects that we use for CO2 connections with ones that won't corrode and have to be replaced so often. Even stainless ones tend to develop rust on the balls that hold them on.

How about plastic? McMaster sells ones made from PVDF and Delrin (see http://www.mcmaster.com/#quick-disco...plings/=3jn3op)

Anyone like either of these? Do I need to buy expensive PVDF or can I get the much cheaper Delrin and still retain sanitation?

Search for Coulder fittings. They are very sweet and are more cleanable then other quick disconnects. Perhaps more pricey though,

      Quick Connects

Check out Foxx Equipment. They have a couple types and are easy to keep clean.

For plastic fittings, I'd go with CPC every time.

Alternatively, I have been a long-time fan of Swagelok for stainless. These are entirely 316 and having used them is a whole range of brewery applications including on DO2, CO2 & N2 meters, my experience is they've virtually bomb-proof
