Who's brewing on a well? Any problems with it? What type of filtration is neccesary if any?

Yup - 280 feet. Gorgeous, tasty water. It runs through a "green sand" filter to take out the iron and some hardness. As I would imagine, well water varies quite a bit - no reason one can't use it for brewing but your results may vary...

We've got one 400 feet down. Flows like crazy. Nice calcium sulfate content. We don't filter and the beer finishes really clean.

        well

Most water can be treated for consumption where ever it comes from, but will the well provide you with enough water? Also where is the waste water going to? That will be an issue unless you have public sewer. I see that your looking for 60 bbl. fermenters, so figure how many bbls. you want to produce per yr. to calculate whether you can get enough water and dispose of the waste water.
