  • Contract Brewer

I have been a home brewer for 15 years and am currently writing my business plan for a microbrewery that I would like to start in southern california. I don't have the financing to start my own brewery at this time, and I am thinking of hiring a contract brewer to make my recipes. Does anyone have any experience with this process? How should I look for them and approach them? What would the contract be like? Any help in this area would be appreciated.

    30-40K up front

Labeling, Fed and State forms, brewery costs and all the legalities that you need to adhere to as if you were a legit brewery.
Your cost/case return will be very low, unlesss you are doing f-load of cases a month. That would be a good thing.

    Good luck
