Can You Make $ From Your Waste Stream?

I knew it had to happen sooner or later. I've been talking to Skip Shapiro of Skip Shapiro Enterprises about new evolutions in food industry waste stream recycling.
In the past, dealing with spent grains and yeast has always been a bit of a nuisance. If you were lucky you could find a local farmer who would come and haul it away for a small fee or free. Otherwise you'd have to pay to dump it in the local landfill.
With the advent of the new small digesters for 1st stage ethanol creation, spent yeasts and grains as well as runoff, returned beer, etc all have value.
Depending on a few variables (volume, distance to nearest digester, etc) your waste stream can potentially turn into positive cash back into your company.
For more information on the latest developments in waste stream recycling contact skip@shapiroe.com

The Zero Emissions Research Institute has been promoting the use of a breweries waste stream for over a decade .

Very simple and would probably work great with a Nanobrewery or even brewpub .
