Alberta's oldest Microbrewery located in Canada's festival city Edmonton is currently looking for a filtration operator.
Alley Kat Brewing Company is looking for an energetic, motivated, pro-active, professional to join the production department as a filter operator. We are looking for an individual that has brewing experience. A brewers certification from Heriot Watt, IBD, Siebels or UC Davis would be an assest, however not a requirement. A degree or diploma in biological or physical sciences would be an asset, however not a requirement.
Initial tasks would include:
Keg washing and filling
Off packing on the bottle line
Deliveries to on-premise accounts
General brewery cleaning
Subsequent tasks would include:
Beer transfers
Filtration
Tank and line CIP
Completing initial tasks during the three month probationary period will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to learn daily brewery activities and are completed by all production staff. Upon successful completion of the probationary period the successful individual will be given increased responsibility and the opportunity to complete tasks in the cellar and brewhouse.
