washback vessel cip
Greetings.. I am undertaking a small project to automate our cleaning of the washbacks and would like to ask from your experiences what would be the best solution. We currently wash out the washback after dishcharge with water then apply steam to a temperature of 85 deg C. I am as yet going down the road of using a sprayball connected to a tank with hot water. To satisfy our cleaning requirements we must cip the vessel for at least 10 minutes with a temperature excess of 60 degs C if using water. The project is to incorparate energy savings and not to be too costly unless the cost can be returned with savings from current process. Any ideas on how to achieve this and any process techniques you guys use that I could integrate her at Cameronbridge.
