Great Opportunity for Experienced Brewer
You have choices in the position you take in the beer industry. If you’re satisfied working in a large brewery, on the line, doing the same thing day in and day out, then that is probably the direction you should head. BUT, if you are looking for a job where you can really have some impact, where your voice will be heard, then a smaller brewery may be for you.

We are a small brewery in a rural location. Estacada, Oregon is full of fabulous outdoor recreational opportunities. It’s the best of all worlds; we are located at the base of the Mt. Hood national forest and the gateway to the Clackamas River, but are still very near the beer Mecca of Portland Oregon. Plus, we are growing. We hope to open a 5000 barrel production facility within a year. Right now we are producing about 1200 barrels per year, and selling every drop we can squeeze out. Our beer enjoys an excellent reputation and our batches are consistent. We pride ourselves on brewing top notch beers that are true to style, but we like to have fun with them as well.

The person we are looking for will have most, if not all, of these qualifications:
Experience: academic is good but in the field is best
Good problem solving skills with mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently
Honest and trustworthy
Reliable transportation or willingness to live in our rural community.
Technical and microbiology skills are a plus
Ability to understand and operate our canning line
Good knowledge of sanitation procedures

Plus, if you are one of those guys who hope to someday own and operate your own shop, we would be excited to pass on what we have learned and our business skills, so you have a better shot at success. This is a real opportunity for the right person who is willing to seize it. Pay starts at $13.00 per hour and is negotiable depending on experience. We also have medical insurance for full time employees. We can talk about production bonuses as well.

One last thing. Unfortunately the brewing industry has a few players that don’t always hold up their end of the employment bargain. We approach every employer/employee relationship as if it is a true partnership. We take care of those who are willing to take ownership of their jobs and pull their weight. If that is you, please contact us by emailing your resume’ as soon as possible to;
