  • Dosing with Clarity-Ferm

Anybody out there using Clarity-Ferm if so how do you apply it?

Add Clarity Ferm after cooling the wort

    Hi TableRock,
Great to see you guys in Idaho Falls! I just asked one brewer who uses Clarity-Ferm the same question and here's his response via email yesterday, verbatim:

    >>It needs to be added to the cooled wort immediately. I personally add it with the yeast pitch in the CCV before wort is transfered. The recommended dosing if I recall properly is approximately 10 ml/ bbl wort.

I love using it. It's a very specific enzyme that goes after the proline ends to prevent binding and eventual haze formation.<<
