Yes, I find it a bit frustrating as well. Along with PM'ing for additional information and no response from sellers.
Is it just me or wouldn't it be much easier to find what you're looking for if people would just delete their ads after the gear has sold? I find myself "sifting through the ashes" quite a bit here and just thought it was worth mentioning.
Cheers,
Chris

And putting WANTED ads in the FOR SALE area. A little house cleaning would make the site a lot easier.
Agree. We delete all ads after 180 days. But since we are operating on limited resources here, it's hard to go through all of the Classifieds looking for sold equip. Like other Forums, we rely on the poster to take their ad down once it has sold.
if you see an ad that does not have contact info or where the item has sold, please contact us directly at admin@probrewer.com and we will take it down.
Hope that helps!

Completely understand how much work it is and having limited resources. Used to be an admin on a couple different forums and it takes up a lot of your time for sure.
My hope was that making a conversation of this within the classified section would make people more aware of the issue and produce some results from here on. One can only hope. :-)
Thanks for the responses!
Cheers,
Chris
I would suggest clicking the red ! in the upper right hand corner of each post and report. Saves email, time and clears what is now spam. Would that work for the Admin?Originally Posted by admin

I hope you guys delete these posts in a year. I'll be checking.
why? These aren't classifieds themselves, just comments on the process.
I agree it would be good, but time is always a constraint. I see a lot of frustration with people looking for items and getting no response. It would be good to have the ability to police the ads section more. Just requires that either the Admin have more time (unlikely Edit: because he's obvioulsy very busy!) or have a few more moderators.
