Regional Sales Associate

Reports to: President, Baxter Brewing Company
Location: Home office, weekly visits to Baxter office
Summary:
The Regional Sales Associate will assist Baxter Brewing Company in expanding our brand in the New England market, with a strong focus on sales in Southern Maine and Metro-Boston. The position requires self motivation, prior knowledge and experience in the craft beer industry, and a natural ability to network with a variety of businesses and individuals.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain current on and off-premise accounts; support with point-of-sale and regular in-person visits
• Increase overall distribution and volume through independent sales efforts and in conjunction with wholesaler sales teams
• Create promotional events at on and off-premise accounts
• Represent Baxter Brewing Company at beer festivals and trade shows as needed
• Working with distributors to build sales forecasts within territory
• Working with distributor’s sales reps to enhance their sales in the craft beer market
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years sales and branding experience
• Knowledge of and interest in the craft beer industry
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communications skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to make long range plans and goals
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees and the general public.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi task. The ability to think on your feet and adapt, flexibility is key.
• Strong reasoning ability and problem solving skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Strong PC skills – Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
