    can supplier options

Do we have any small quantity can options yet? A year ago it was pretty much Ball (12 pallets) or Rexam (24 pallets) per label. I dread this next can order. Hoping to make this one easier.

    Drink more beer,

Blank cans, plastic shrink wrap labels.

You can only order sub-truckload sizes of blanks.

But they look fantastic with a heat shrink sleeve. Only issue is if you need a sleeve dispenser, or if your runs are small enough to do by hand. Building a heat tunnel is elementary.

Gotta be someone, somewhere supplying small-lot can runs to a growing market. Or not?

You'll want to talk with Crown Cork. They're at 10 pallets and so far great to work with.

    Cheers,
We use CROWN cans and their supprt is great. They even sent a tech person out to help resolve some seam issues with our 5 head CASK canner.

    Crown

Fremont Brewing in Seattle uses Crown for 12 oz cans and our minimum is 8 pallets. You will pay a slight up charge for small runs but for special beers or smaller packaging breweries, this is better than the alternatives available.

I will also echo the posts re: customer support. For example, our rep in Philly was emailing this morning to help our current process keep moving forward as the storm was pounding the East Coast from her home. Clearly, this is above and way beyond the call of duty and representative of the service Crown delivers.

West Coast contact is Brian Thiel and he is exceptional:

I wanted to revive a really old thread

I have been a some-what happy customer of Crown, but their lead times recently have been difficult to work with. Someone mentioned using Evercan out of Mexico, which is a 90% recycled aluminum can, and I am having a hard time finding good / bad information on the company. Does anyone have any experience with Evercan?

We've been using the Evercan for about a year now and we're very happy with the cans. Evercan is officially a Novelis product (they make the aluminum) and the cans are produced by Envases in Mexico. If you have any specific questions on Evercan, please feel free to msg me.
