What volume are these, 12 gallon?
We have 12 brand new plastic firkins for sale. Only reason we're getting rid of them is because our cask cooler isn't quite the right size for them when tapped. They are the same ones found here: http://www.globalpolymersolutions.co...greencask.html
$75 each. Would prefer to sell all together but willing to split them up. Buyer pays shipping from Arlington, VA or can come pick them up.
You can call us at 703-527-8700 and ask to speak with a Manager or email me, mikeberry at fireworkspizza dot com.
Thanks!

I assume these are Global Polymer's standard cask product, if so they will be UK firkin sized - 9 UK Gal, c. 41 litres or going by PB's vol converter - 10.809 US Gals.
I've not used them yet, but they're getting pretty good reports over here, backed up by solid sounding R&D, drop testing, etc - see the website quoted - http://www.globalpolymersolutions.co...greencask.html
(scan down for the impressive 4-metre drop test!)
Greg from GPS is on Probrewer somewhere too.

Apologies for not replying sooner. From what I can tell, they're 10.8 US GAL each. We haven't actually used them but they're almost identical in size to metal firkins we get from breweries, excluding the flanges on each end w/handles for grip.
Have a few interested, will update quantity available upon meeting with them.
Have had a few show interest but no commitments thus far. Still have 9 in house for sale (3 of them are up at Yards in Philly, we just need to have them shipped back).
Have over 100 unused threaded plastic shives, you're guaranteed a decent portion of them for free if you buy.
now asking $75 per firkin (price non-negotiable). brand new firkins, absolutely nothing wrong with them. plenty of plastic threaded shives to go around. please get in touch if interested by calling 703-527-8700 and asking for a manager or email me at mikeberry at fireworkspizza dot com.
Are the 3 still up at Yards? I live around the corner and would be happy to buy those.
I've had various and serious leaking issues with them, thoughOriginally Posted by mic_mac

You've had leaking issues with I just want to be clear, as I've had a load of bad experience (& heard of a load more) related to a different manufacturer of plastic casks, but not the one that I think made these that are for sale here.Originally Posted by Zucker Bee
As far as I can tell the casks mentioned by the seller are from this company

have you had problems with these GPS casks? (I've heard nothing but good things about them).
