We are looking at getting a steam generator for wort preheating, keg cleaning, and hot liquor preheating. Total newbie as far as steam goes with lots of questions.
I assume low pressure is safer less code intensive?
Are there any self-contained units that don't require inspections?
Speaking of inspections, what is required?
Sizing? Based on transferring 410 gallons of wort from grant to kettle at 155 with a kettle temp of 190 we'd need a 65-75 KW boiler roughly. Does this seem reasonable?
Looking for other's learning experiences and recommendations with steam before going down this path.
