We could definitely use a good brewpub in the Dartmouth area.
So... who's available for this project? I am not, but there must be some worthwhile candidates ready to work...
Best of luck
Matthew
I'm in the process of putting together a business plan for a brewpub in SE Massachusetts. While I've homebrewed for a decade, I know I'm not ready to make the leap to commercial brewing.
We're looking for someone with experience with startups, from system setup to recipe concoction, etc. This is an opportunity for a brewer to really make his or her mark. We have a head chef lined up.
The candidate should have experience, references, etc.
PM me if you're interested.

Agreed. Coddington's and Union Station are both decent, but I'd rather have one closer by (I live in Westport). And I think the New Bedford market is ripe for one.
I've been trying to get in touch with Scott Houghton, who comes recommended by Dann Paquette of Pretty Things, but I can't find him anywhere except Facebook, and he hasn't responded to my friend request.![]()
Well, I am right here. natescape, as I didn't know who you were, I didn't friend you, no offense. I have one client right now, funding a brewery and finalizing a brand but would be happy to discuss consulting with any serious project. Budget for the consulting, I'll either talk you out of it, or make it happen for you, it's a hard, hard yet rewarding business. Shoot me an e-mail scott@brewerepublic.com.
Cheers, Scott Houghton
No problemo. FB doesn't let you send a message when you friend request someone anymore, so it was mostly a "shot in the dark."
Anyway, you have an email.![]()
