Hopeful Science geek
I am fairly new to brewing and loving it. Being a re-entry student in Biology ( Micro/Molecular and Botany)I am looking forward to getting my Bachelor's degree and then I have been toying with the idea of the Master brewers program at UC Davis. This is an intensive program from what I have read covering all the bases and clocking a hefty fee of $13,000. I am wondering what the graduates of this program can expect to find as far as employment and compensation in the cutthroat world. Any helpful comments are surely welcome.
I am currently contacting any and all microbreweries in my area to investigate the possibilities of an internship/ apprentice postion. My ultimate goal is to start my own craft brewery and brewpub incorporating my Culinary skills (formerly a Chef) into one business.
Thanks in advance for your replys.
