C. H. Evans Brewing Co. at the Albany Pump Station is in need of a Head Brewer to join our established and successful 13-year old brewpub.

Our brewpub is located in Albany, NY in the beautiful Hudson River Valley. We are an easy drive to New York City, Boston or Montreal. We feel extremely fortunate to have had an extraordinary brewer, George DePiro, from the beginning and wish him luck on his new endeavor.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the craft beer culture, a team player, self-motivated and competitive. We have won numerous awards including three gold medals at the GABF and want more. We are now producing 1000 bbls per year and plan to increase that by 25% this coming year. However, we are not just a production brewery and communication and interaction with our customers is key.

Job Requirements: 3 years of brewery experience and brewery specific education preferred. Position requires excellent communication skills, ability to lift 55 lbs routinely, and a fast-paced and independent time-managed work ethic. Ideal candidates can grasp and improve the entire brewing process and procedures while still enhancing the quality of our beer.
