how do liquor stores do it with bottles of whiskey and such. would a simple paper strip be enough? that's what most hard booze bottles have around these parts.
there is an open container law in Alabama and the ABC doesnt seem to care for shrink tubing the caps on as a way to determine they had been opened/tampered with after they left the brewery/brewpub/retailers.
do any of you know of a cap for growlers that includes the same or similar attibutes of a plastic soda bottle or milk jug cap?
I can have them produced, but I am not trying to reinvent the wheel. if I dont have to.

One of the breweries in our area are using a label over the cap. They use the same growlers for all their product SKUs. They include the type of beer and the rest of their label info on the long sticker, then it is placed over the cap, along the sides of the neck. The label needs to be broken or removed in order to open the growler.
