My sympathies go out to the family of employee. We all may be doing what we love, but that doesn't mitigate the danger of it.

Of all things, pressurizing a keg? Not something I think about much... Horrible...
My condolences to the family and co-workers. Sad news, indeed.

Just Godawful! Our thoughts and good vibes go out to that worker, his family, and Redhook. A very sobering reminder of how dangerous all our breweries can be. It seems so easy to forget how many things are in the brewery that can maim or kill the brewery worker!
Try to stay safe....
Prost!

Wow, really sad news. Is this a common accident?? I mean if the keg actually failed (as the article states), is there anyway that something like that can be prevented?
The admin posted another thread about this do a search for it. In it there are some good answers to your question.
