Our 7 bbl system is about to arrive and I was hoping to use a hopback for pale ales and IPAs....would this product work for this purpose? Stainless steel so a ball valve can be drilled at the top(in)and bottom (out under a screen/false bottom)....it should prevent steam and liquid from escaping the top or air in unless I'm missing something? Do you think 21 quarts or about 5 gallons is adequate for a hopback if it's packed tight with whole hops?
