Brewery changes name in order to not make AB mad.

Saw this article about a new brewery in Columbus, Ohio named "Born Brewing" that is changing its name to avoid potential conflict with AB. They will now be known as "Seventh Son Brewing". From a Columbus blog:

"The brewery-formerly-known-as-Born had a change of name when they discovered that Budweiser holds a trademark on “Born Small Town” for its Rolling Rock brand, and since Anheuser-Busch (now owned by InBev) has sued craft breweries over smaller things, they opted to change their name."


Doesn't sound like they got a Cease and Desist from AB but decided to change on their own. Pretty bad when you can't use a word in your brewery name that is also a word in the slogan for a brand from one of the big boys....

I hope AB doesn't trademark the word "THE"......
