Brewmaster Duties

Can people in the industry give me what a typical brewmaster job description would be in a Brewpub?

Are you/they strictly doing beer/beermaking/santization related tasks?

It can be as simple or complicated as the situation calls for. Obviously, a brewpub brewmaster will do all the brewing-related stuff, plus inventory control, tax-related recordkeeping, staff beer training, and public relations work.

In situations where the brewing related stuff doesn't equal a full weeks work, it's not uncommon for the brewer to pick up a shift or two as bartender, or to help out in other ways.

Ideally, you're selling too much beer to let him/her out of the brewhouse!
