Hey guys, looking into a way to measure plato in the boil and found a couple products produced by siemens. They've got a line of products called "sitrans flowmeters". These gadgets can measure flow, plato, etc. Now here's my question, I plan on installing one to measure flow and plato at lauter run off. I also want to watch my plato in the boil, and siemens recommends installing a unit in a recirculating loop. Should I just recirculate from my bottom drain back up to my top entry? Can you guys see any issues with that? It's a 10 bbl steam heated kettle. Thanks in advance!
