Hey everyone. I recently purchased a Versapply 9100 Pressure Sensitive Labeler as a fixer upper. I am still running into two issues.
1. I do not think the last 2 owners oiled the gearbox / motor in the last 10 years and there is a significant amount of rust, so much so I can't even open it to look into it. The gear box seems to be seized up now as I hear the motor humming but the gears don't move. Should I just get a whole new motor assembly and gear box and avoid wasting my time opening this thing up?
-If so, does anyone know where I can buy replacement motors and gear boxes? I have done a search on google and a thousand places come up that sell these labelers.
2. I am having trouble with the electrical system being that the fuses fry anytime I try to alter a setting on the machine. I have tried putting the largest fuse available at my local Home Depot of that size and it blows so fast. What should I do about this issue?
