Deserving of Support
Thanks for any votes of support this far (remember votes are private we don't know who votes).
Here is a little note for those who do not yet know us - though many of you do.
Why we think we are deserving of your vote: Our Basic Mantra.
Below is a short “pull” from out Application for this Grant – it may serve to show you our genuine belief in supporting our industry and how we can do more with the award of such a grant. We keep it to the basics so as not to bore you.
“Our business started as a need to continue supporting existing clients. After working at the oldest Brewing Laboratory in the US, a bid by a company to buy the Institute failed leading Gary Spedding from Chicago to KY. Many clients chose to “move” with Spedding to sending samples to the new company that hired him. However, this company then decided it no longer wished to run analytical services after Spedding established a program for them. This would have left clients “high and dry” again after moving their products for analysis to KY. Spedding chose not to let these existing clients down and, following discussions with many of them, opened up a new business dedicated to serving their analytical testing needs.”
“We firmly believe that we are the major facility uniquely covering beer, wine, spirits, soft-drinks and malt beverages in the US and offering the best testing and follow-up support to all existing and new clients. We aim high to enable us to provide even better support to all clients in the coming years. Our key statement is: “The answer is yes – now what is the question?” to either directly or indirectly help brewers, winemakers and distillers in their dedicated efforts to produce unique, flavorful and wholesome and safe quality beverages for responsible consumption by an ever savvy, demanding and educated consumer”. We are a word of mouth business which is driven by our exposure through support of industry talks and presentation of methods that our clients can use in their own laboratories. We feel this to be a solid testament to our abilities and dedication that little advertising has been needed to support our growth.”
“We humbly seek your votes of support to be able to continue successfully as a small, though responsible, community-supporting business. Thank you. Please also support other small businesses via your votes and purchase of their beverages!”
Gary.
