Biofine vs. Nalco - same performance?

Biofine CL and Nalco 1072 are both brands of silicic acid. Recently I've switched to the Nalco brand and seem to be getting worse results, but we don't use it often enough to really know if that's the problem or if something else is going on. Anyone else experienced this?

Since they are supposed to be chemically identical I wouldnt think there would be a difference. I used Biofine Clear quite a bit and had mixed results on the same beers and never really nailed it down. Best thing to do would be to trial them side by side with pint glasses at a couple different concentrations and see what happens.
