Paddock Wood, a craft beer gem on the prairies, is looking a for a Head Brewer. You must have formal training -- or loads of experience -- in all aspects of brewery operations. You will be doing interesting stuff: designing beers, brewing and overseeing production expansion (we are growing at a rate of 70- 100%), plus the drudge stuff: filtering, scheduling, preparing reports to governments, overseeing packaging lines and CIP protocols. You must be creative as we run a lot of specialty and seasonal beers, which breaks the monotony too.

Because we are a small brewery with about 10 staff, you must be a good team player. We cross train most of the brew house crew, and it will be your job to train - so you have to like teaching people. Quality control and lab work are vital as well. This is a full-time salaried position with full drug and dental benefit package. Compensation depends a bit on what you bring to the table.

In case you missed it in the heading, we are located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Saskatoon is Canada's fastest growing city, and while it is exciting in many ways the winter can hit -40C (but it's a dry cold) & the summer can hit +40C (but it's a dry heat).
