    Home made Can Depalletizer

We recently built our own Can depalletizer. This machine works quite well with our 5 head Cask Can filling machine.

If anyone is interested in building this type of machine, I can supply some detail on what we did for anyone who may be interested.

The lift is an electric pallet lift that we dedicated to this machine instead of building an elevator. We get dual use from it as well.

The machine runs via pneumatic cylinders with a small PLC to control the actuation and interlocks.

Attached is a photo of the machine.

I'm very interested. Does the plc control the lift as well? Meaning: The lift table as well as the pallet lift.

Yes, I added a smalll cylinder to move the hydraulic lift handle on the pallet mover. When unplugged, it works electrically as well.
I moved the control of the table to a pneumatic soleniod instead of the pneumatic switch that was original. The only thing that is not run by the PLC is the vibrator which is run from the canner PLC.

you can e-mail me and I can send more pictures.
