    Triclover fitting to City Water

A bit of a dumb question as I am building my brewery...

How do you get city water from an 1.5" copper pipe to a triclover fitting. I thought there would be a simple fitting for this but I cant find one anywhere online. Do you just use a ferrel and solider it onto the pipe?

Lots of places make adaptors. Not hard to find a 1.5" FNPT to 1.5 triclover adaptor.

Bradford, JME Ellsworth, or Dixon sanitary should have them.

I'm assuming, of course, that your 1.5" pipe is threaded at the end? Female or Male NPT adaptors are really easy to find. You can even get hose bib (3/4" NPT) to triclamp fittings. Plumb your whole house in them!

McMaster-Carr is always a good place to look. GW Kent has them too.

Thanks guys. That was pretty easy. I saw those but I thought there must be something that goes straight onto copper. This will work out just fine.

    Cheers!
