Lenticular filter help please

As many of you will be aware, I have a fair bit of experience with KG filters, and more recently cross flow filters. However, I am updating some training info, due for eventual distribution to micro brewers and big brewers alike, and I have no experience of lenticular filters - to the point where I am not even sure what the design is.

Please would someone share some info with me on the design and use of these filters as an alternative to KG filters of any shape of description.

Pros and cons of their use, limitations on throughput, design, cleaning, sterilisation, filter medium service life. Anything and everything appreciated, though I don't at this stage need detailed operating instructions as these will be specific to a particular setup.
