Oak aging beer
I am about to begin aging an oatmeal stout in a bourbon barrel. Has anyone had any problems with over oxidation in the aging process?

down here in portland OR , B.J's brewpub at jatzen beach make a stout that they age for about 4-6 month and get 2 batches per barrel before the flavor is used up from the barrel . You got to make the trip and taste the stout , it's pretty strong they start with a 8.2% stout and really taste like your drinking whisky , dam good
