to take off the pump face on my rig, I had to take apart the back end of the motor (four very long bolts) then get a wrench on the back of the motor shaft. The pump wheel then unscrewed in the opposite direction of the normal rotation.
I'm not familiar with the specifics of the particular motor, but on some of ours, we need to approach it from the rear as Dave suggested. After removing the back plate you can see a large central slotted "screw" or bolt head. Insert a screw driver, and unscrew wheel manually, opposite of direction of rotation.
