May i suggest an alternate: find a used 1 hp or 2 hp aquarium chiller. You still need a cooler for the glycol and the pumps to your fermenters or glycol loop, but its much more efficient than an air conditioner and you dont need to jury rig the air conditioner. Still around the same price too.

The only retro fit you need to do: aquarium chillers only have temp control down to 39 F so you need to take out the existing controller and install a different controller that goes down to 0. For my 1 hp chiller it took all of 30 min.

We had 4 3bbl ferms and 3 7bbl ferms all on this chiller. It wasnt quite enough for that many tanks but we made it work for as long as we had to. It would be perfect for about 4-3bbl fermenters

Heres an ebay link to a nice used 1HP for $700 https://m.ebay.com/itm/Used-Active-A...0AAOSwtGlZB4-k
