what are brewer's crystals such as distributed by brewer's resource group?
Brewers crystals are basically dehydrated corn syrup from Casco. You need really good circulation to use them. If you were to just dump them in to a kettle with out any external colandria/recirc system you would end up with a huge lolly pop at the bottom of your kettle.
Has the similar sugar profile as malt with out the maltiness good for making domestic beer.
Brewer's Supply Group told me they're 55% maltose, 45% glucose, very fermentable with little flavor contribution.
