Ei8ht Ball Brewery, a small production brewery in Northern Kentucky right across the river from Cincinnati Ohio, is offering a unique opportunity to learn from an award winning brewer with 10 years of professional brewing experience. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the trade of brewing with an open mind. In fact, we would prefer NO beer making experience at all. What you DO need is a desire to work hard, the realization that making beer is a serious job and that the beer fantasy fades fast when you realize the beer is consuming you faster than you can consume it. We feel this is a unique opportunity because it would be a full-time paid internship position with benefits. We work hard, enjoy what we do, and are looking for a self starter who can work well with others. Check out our website to get an idea of who we are..... www.ei8htballbrewing.com

    Requirements for this position include:

    • Ability to work any shift for long hours at a time, including night shift & weekends.

    • Quick learner who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
    • Someone who can work safely in the hazardous environment of a brewery (which includes environments which are hot, cold, wet, dealing with electricity, mechanical hazards, pressurized vessels, heights, chemicals, etc).
    • Physically capable of moving heavy (70 pound) objects without assistance, occasionally 170 pound kegs.
    • Hard work ethic and a positive attitude.
    • Good communication skills.
