    Wheat malt

    at the moment im brewing with a mix of
    60-70 barley malt
    20-30 rice adjuncts
    10 sugar

    i was considering using a 5 - 10 wheat malt mix with my barley

    any views?

    what are the pros and cons of wheat malt

    What type of beer are you brewing?
    Normal, using ~ 5% Wheat Malt in your recipe is OK.
    It will compensate for the lower protein (and resulting amino acids)
    in your formula through the adjuncts.
