Lift Bridge Brewery is expanding and we are currently looking for a full-time Brewer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate should be outgoing, hardworking, quality minded, a self-starter, and of high character. One to two years of related experience or training, or a combination of experience and education preferred.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
Preparation of materials and vessels for production
Brew-house operations
Maintaining accurate production records
Performing quality assurance testing
Performing routine maintenance on process equipment
Communicates known equipment/ material/ beer quality issue to brewmaster
Inventory management
Assists in other areas of the brewery as needed
Abilities and Skills:
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule with little supervision
Must be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs occasionally
Must have advanced knowledge of the brewing process
Must have excellent time management skills
Should be computer literate/comfortable using MS Office
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be able to safely work with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals and in varying environments.
Experience driving a forklift a plus
Wage will be determined based on skill set and prior experience.
