Silica in water
Could someone give me the lowdown on silica's role in brewing/cleaning water and recommended ranges? The water source is a deep artesian well and the water is near its saturation point of ~ 70 ppm silica. I believe the form is reactive silica from dissolved SiO2. Sorry, don't have my reference materials with me, but this forum has been a fantastic source of information. Thanks in advance!
