Our recent expansion and move into canning has left us a great opportunity to crank out a serious amount of beer this summer. An extra set of experienced hands would go a long way in making it a great summer for everyone!
JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMER SHIFT BREWER (Temporary/Contract)
The successful shift brewer will be excited at the prospect of working for the Summer as part of a team in a successful growing production operation in a HIGHLY SEASONAL environment. The Summer Shift Brewer is responsible for working with our team to follow standard operating procedures in the day to day production operation including, but not limited to: brewing, fermentation, filtering, packaging, keg and growler washing as well as cleaning and general brewery maintenance. This position reports to the lead brewer. This position starts sometime in Mid to late May and runs until September. This is a "summer gig" - a chance to come to Cape Cod - brew some great beers - check out one of the most wonderful summer resort areas in the world - and get paid to do it. Perference given to people who have or can find housing. Pay based on experience. To be clear this is not an experience open to a homebrewer or someone trying to break into the industry - we love those folks too but need a seasoned professional brewer or a skilled assistant brewer - someone who can be working independently very quickly once they learn our system.
