    Epic Brewing Company is hiring more packaging operators. You might be wondering why we have been hiring so much and it's because we promote from within!

    Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, they will assure that beer is packaged in bottles, cans and kegs ready for distribution and sale. This is an entry-level position in a fast paced production environment that best suits individuals looking to start a career in the brew industry. This is a physically intensive role that requires exceptional motivation, a true passion for craft beer and scheduling flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts and occasional weekends.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Safe operation of bottling, labeling, canning and kegging equipment
    • Troubleshooting and making adjustments as needed for smooth operation
    • Quality inspection of all packaged products
    • General maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of packaging equipment
    • Cleaning of kegs and preparation for filling
    • Filling barrels for aging
    • Handling chemicals required for cleaning and sanitization
    • Other duties as required throughout the brewery, including festival representation as needed

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Packaging/bottling line experience preferred
    • Forklift certification and/or experience is a plus
    • Strong mechanical background
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • A problem solver with attention to detail
    • Work independently and within a team with minimal supervision
    • Work well under pressure and at a fast pace
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    • Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds
    • Must be able to maneuver 165 pound kegs
    • Must be willing to work in wet and/or cold conditions
    • Available to work long and/or flexible hours and on weekends
    • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
    • Knowledge of the brewing process (or home-brewing experience) is preferred

    Compensation & Benefits
    • $10 / hour with overtime opportunities
    • Health benefits (Epic pays 50%)
