  • Anyone in Denver or CO using inline/pinpoint carbonation?

    Hello,

Just curious if anyone in the Denver area (or anywhere else in Colorado) is using inline/pinpoint carbonation. Some examples would be Denwel Inline Carbonation or Wittemann Pinpoint Carbonator.

We are looking at utilizing this type of equipment, and would love to visit/observe, pick your brain about operation and capabilities.

    Thanks for your time, Cheers!

I wouldn't mind hearing folks thoughts on the Wittemann carbonator as well.

I'll just ask in here, if that's cool, since other people are curious.

Currently on a 7BBL system, carbonating through stone in 14BBL brite over 48 hours. Will be upgrading to 30BBL system with 60BBL brites. We have a 1000lb CO2 tank. Would use inline between fermentor and brite (TDV). We do not filter.

        -What setup are you using?

-What if any infrastructure upgrades are needed?

        -How consistent is output?

-How precise can you be? How specific with volumes?

-How tricky is operation? How hard was it to learn?

-Does it scale with production capacity upgrade?

-Any problems with solids (Trub, hops, PB2)?

-How much help did you get throughout purchase process? How is support?
