Indeed Brewing Company is seeking a reliable and hard working individual to fill the role of weekend Keg Line Operator at our Northeast Minneapolis brewery. Our Keg Line operator will be primarily responsible for cleaning and filling kegs as well as assisting with other packaging operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manually washing the exterior of kegs
• Operating our semi-automated keg washer to clean the interior of kegs
• Setting up racking lines and filling kegs per production orders
• Safely operating a forklift
• Maintaining brewery sanitation
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting with canning line operations
• Assisting with bottling operations
• Cask cleaning
• Brewery maintenance
• Taproom keg stocking
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Commercial brewery experience preferred but not required
• High school/GED or higher
• Safety conscious
• Able to meet physical demands (see below)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk: climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific abilities in this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK SCHEDULE
• 30 to 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
• Must be willing to work early or late
