  • Regulator Spec for 15 BBL Brite, flow concerns?

Is there any concern of flow rate for CO2 regulator sizing for a brite tank? I've got a 15 BBL tank. Do standard regulators (with 3.5 SCFM max rating) work for carbonation on a tank like this? I am pretty certain that a typical regulator will work just fine since there is only about 130-200 cubic feet of CO2 in 15 bbls of carbonated beer (not accounting for compression of CO2) but wanted to ask the question.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

We have no problems using 1/2" CO2 approved regs for our carbonation up to 110 bbl. Same regs for push when transferring.
