  • Best Software or Spreadsheets for Brew Logs and Production Schedules

Presently we use Beer Smith 2 for all our recipe and production keeping needs. Beer Smith is great for homebrewing but really sucks for professional brewing. It's been fine so far because we are small but now we are expanding and will be in dire need of a more efficient way to manage brew logs and production.

Pro Mash doesn't exist anymore, Ekos looks amazing but is expensive and doesn't work well with our POS software. Does anyone have another software they'd recommend or a spreadsheet? I have searched pages of threads but really haven't found any working spreadsheet links.

    Try Orchestrated Beer

Did I read it correct that orchestrated beer is 500/mo for the smallest brewery?

That is what I read as well which is more expensive than Ekos which seems way better IMO.

Hey guys just to clarify Ekos starts at $99/month and includes unlimited users, and includes mobile apps for Android, iPhone, and iPad.

Yes... I was just about to say the same. We're taking the plunge on the advice of another brewery in our area that uses it and swears by it.
Makes sense to implement it from Day One.

What have you heard about it? It looks really interesting.

I am using Ekos. We haven't started brewing yet, but this system is very well designed and I am happy with it. Easy to use and enter info. and yes. $99/month is very reasonable.

@jagoffbrewer What POS do you have that doesn't work with Ekos?
