Assistant Brewer- San Jose CA
The Gordon Biersch Brewery/Restaurant is taking applications for a
full time Assistant
Brewer to work at our brewpub location in San Jose CA. Applicants should have
a strong interest in expanding their knowledge of brewing, be detail
oriented, and able to work as a member of the brewery/ restaurant
team. Strong mechanical skills are a must. Previous experience and/or
formal brewery training preferred, but not required. This would be a
great position for
someone looking to get started in the professional brewing industry.
Tasks to include:
* Brewery cleaning and sanitation
* Assist the Head Brewer in raw material handling, wort production,
QA/QC, and cellar operations
* Brewery maintenance
* Guest and staff beer education
This position could lead to advancement for a motivated candidate.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
